I plan to spend a couple weeks in Rome, next month. I was hoping on the Sheraton Roma because they have airport transportation and city shuttle. My original choice was The Atlante Star. I would like a nice place within walking distance of the vatican and spanish steps. If I go with the sheraton I'll be using the taxi often to return to the hotel. Is the taxi system good in Rome? Any advice on a hotel? If I am on my own from FCO, what do you recommend for transport to Rome? I did the train to termini a few years ago and now I prefer other means of transport, like a shuttle or taxi. What would a shuttle or taxi cost from FCO to vatican for example? Grazie. . |
