I said $ per £. I have not, because it would be silly to, compared a $20 meal with a £100 meal. When I was in London, prices were numerically the same as here although the cost, there, was 60% greater. I did praise the Tibetan meal we had a hundred feet or so from Leicester Square. The cost was modest, the food and service lovely. It was the only good meal I had during two weeks in England. There were a couple of decent ones in pubs, one in a rural town somewhere between London and Blackpool. In most of the USA, the food's better'n what I had in England but that's extremely faint praise. > My daughter, who works for the NHS, says the food is OK. |
