I can just add.. the bus station in Tallinn is a little far from the town centre. ( I would say 2 to 3 kms.. ) It is a very small bus station. but taxis are very cheap they normally run between 3 to 5 eur I found it difficult to find people that could speak decent english there. There is a bus making a half day tour of the town with english speaking guide you need to buy a special ticket of the type visit tallinn with many other rebates. In Tallinn you will find many shops selling antiques many shops selling good sweaters and a lot of restaurants that will serve a good meal for about 7 to 10 eur. some even offer Happy Hour prices.. the town centre is very small but very very nice if you are lucky and the weather is good.. you will enjoy nice views from the top of the hill that dominates the town if you go to Riga to not forget to visit the Open Air ethichal Museum.. |
