Now I'm glad I've asked you people first. Actually, the tour I took, my first trip to Europe, included breakfast and one other meal, most days. The meals provided were usually excellent, some in famous restaurants we might not have thought of for ourselves. I still remember our feast at a restaurant in Budapest which was (by Hungarian standards) VERY expensive, and some of the best food on the trip! Many European hotels provide breakfast (sometimes a rather lavish buffet) as part of the room rate, and most of the meals arranged as part of the tour were well worth |
