But you really haven't explained why you wished to develop a pseudonym's legal reputation and standing above your given name; Fine if you didn't like your legal name or there was some stigma associated with it (Adolpho Hitler e.g..). Why indeed do so without legal formality; I'd doubt it costs that much time or money.
