I have no knowledge of British Banking or Tax law in fact; I said it was hard to imagine that there were no laws stating it is illegal to hide bank assets; therefore interest income from one. You blew off the issue about appearing in court and using an alias as non issue since you have never been a sworn witness in court. The original question by you was "Could you provide some situations where using an alias - not "giving a false name" is illegal."... and I provided you with a solid one. An alias in not your legal name of record, unless you take legal steps to adopt it in court or via a government registrar. It would appear that Inland Revenue *knows* 'Jim Ley is also so-and-so...Well how so then?
