My position is I dony know all the facts, although I now *believe* I know more than I did three days after the event when it seems we had a completely false set of facts. On the evidence leaked so far it sounds like a right cock up, but I await the report. On the police killing someone in general, I think its very hard to restrain a suicide bomber in a crowded place and I wouldnt want to be the one to try. I suspect the policman who did the shooting honestly believed he was dealing with an "loaded" bomber, I also suspect that something went wrong along the way in communications that made him think that when it wasnt the case.
