In terms of cars made in Britain, and who owns the manufacturers, the largest proportion is surely Japanese. From memory, Nissan makes more cars in Britain than anybody else by a significant margin, followed by Toyota, Honda, BMW, Peugeot, and Vauxhall/Opel (part of General Motors). |
