I'd also suggest Norfolk - you only have 3 days so it's not too far. Cromer's a good old-fashioned kind of place - speciality is dressed crab - not to be missed if you like seafood.. Sheringham is pleasant enough and there's some attractive heathland nearby.. Wells-next-the-Sea is an old port - Brancaster has a good, large beach. Walsingham is inland from Wells - a pilgrimage location. King's Lynn is an old Hanseatic port town with some fine architecture.
