As others have said, I wouldn't stay in Positano - it's large, touristy and, I think, pretty tacky. We hired a car & driver (& I learned to drive in Europe & my husband has driven extensively there) - was the best investment we ever made! He knew where to go & made the trip great fun instead of a terribly stressful experience. Others have mentioned Priano - one of the best meals of my life was wharfside at Armandino's - incredible home dried anchovies, spaghetti alle fruitti di mare & fun to watch the fisherman pull up. I especially enjoyed Ravello & would stay there our next trip. Have fun - I'm jealous! . |
