"Bearing in mind that if I was to visit just the capitals of each of the 29 countries in 31 days spending approximately 8-12hrs in each capital city and that the distance between some capitals is relatively small compared to that of say France and Spain." Why would you want to do that? What would you get out of spending a few hours in each of 30 cities? Why not pick a few places that truly interest you and really explore them? "Then again you might be right if I where to cut out the 7, 8 if you count the fact I live in the UK, countries I have been to and considering that they comprise some of the largest areas in europe it might be possible then to do it?" You would have to go from Scandinavia through Eastern Europe (where the train systems are much slower) down to Greece and Turkey, which is not possible in that amount of time if you actually plan on getting off the train and seeing anything. |
