But, I would still call the TMO (transportation management office) at a large base that serves as a port and ask. Charleston Air Force Base would be one. They use subcontractors to ship cars all the time. Chas even had at one time two shipping companies located just outside the gates where you would park your car, and they would deliver to Germany or where ever. They would even do a German safety check and tell you what you would need to do to register your car in Germany. These guys were turn-key. Also, you may want to look at it the other way - there are European car manufacturers who have overseas purchase programs. You buy the car |
