Cool (10 to 15 C in the daytime, near frost at sunrise), bright, low humidity, little wind. If it's raining, however, it's miserable, 10 C or lower, medium to strong winds, and it can be soaking wet for days. 5-10 C difference in temperature may not sound like a lot, but add rain and wind chill, and you go from "T-shirt weather" to "your fingers falling off from the cold." Personally, I feel it's a very good time for bicycling (and motorbiking) and had some great tours, but I would consider beforehand an alternate plan if the weather becomes rotten, or watch the weather forecast |
