"Note that Italy has the best food in the world (seriously, where is better???)." I'm in complete agreement that the food in Italy is wonderful. It takes effort to have a bad meal anywhere in Italy that is not within 100 meters of a tourist site or train station. That said, I think the overall quality and variety of restaurants are higher in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Paris, and New York City. "Vienna on the other hand is very cool, and very happening." It's a very interesting and historic city, but I wouldn't call it "cool" or "happening"! "About the same pricewise as Milan, but better value. Plenty to look at, good night life, and a really high standard of living. I wouldn't mind living there if I could speak German." I thought I heard somewhere that Hamburg had the highest standard of living of any major city in the European Union. . |
