Anonymous just proved once again that he is an idiot. Silencers are not used with automatic weapons, as heat, not to mention gas, buildup is a real problem. A silencer might be used for single shots, but never for sustained fire. Also, supersonic bullets (i.e. all rifle rounds) create a sonic boom, defeating the purpose of a silencer. Finland does not have more automatic weapons (only someone who gets his information from comic books would use the term machine gun without having a clue what it meant) than Switzerland or the USA. Switzerland's automatic weapons are given out to citizen soldiers as part of the country's militia. Finland does have lots of bolt-action hunting rifles and shotguns, though. |
