I guess the snow would be all gone in mid-May apart from the high altitude areas. To go from Lauterbrunnen to Como, you'll need to go up to pass over Kriens, Altdorf, Belinzona and Lugano. The route takes about 3hrs and it's nice. You could stop at Lugano. There are a lot of lake-side resorts there and the scenery is very nice, not too mountainous though. Max . |
