The stuff is clean burning and many French autoroute stations have it available but one has to know were. It is considerably cheaper because it is not taxed as much in France. LPG is widely sold in the US in rural areas for heating and the distribution sites usually sell to vehicles. One needs a special installation to run on it. Some French buses use the stuff since it is non-polluting. Recently one bus burned up because of a leak and resulting fire. But generally it is reasonably safe. . |
