aruba is not being choked off by commercialism. its a gentle island of friendly people. the northern section of the island has the high end beach front hotels that are a bit commercial but nothing rivaling places like cancun. stay at the best western, or the bacuti beach resort. best beaches, next to a casino, and away from the big hotels. rent a jeep and drive around the island. . |
