Yes Don, there is a reason for choosing Aruba, and the only reason is that it is the only place in the Caribbean we can travel (almost) directly from Norway (via Amsterdam) with only one stopover (Amsterdam, 2 hours) and no nights on the plane, and therefore a minimum of "airport-stress"; checking in-out, waiting etc etc., which is a priority to minimize when travelling with a baby. (and I REALLY hate it too ! :)) And I have also seen very much of the Caribbean, so the "adventurous aspect" isn`t so high. Our only purpose is to find a perfectly located house on a beach, where both we and our baby can enjoy the sea, and do nothing except having a good time, for 2-3 months, in a perfect climate, so I guess Aruba meets all those criteria.
