In June was my first flight with a digital camera. I have a Sony P100 and put it in the basket to go through the xray machine at airport security. Retrieved it on the other side and that was that. Far cry from my last several trips with my Minolta 35mm film camera. What a hassle with my high film speed. They had to visually inspect the camera and every film canister. They opened every one up, swabbed each and put the swabs into an analyzer. Meanwhile, the plane's boarding. After the last time, I said to myself, "Self, never again," and I bought the digital camera. I love it and the ease and time saving that I go through security.
