Immigration was complicated, but so is it for us to get into USA. Fingerprints are mentioned. Interviews at US Embassy (no matter how far away you live from that embassy). And we are supposed to be "friends and allies". In those days you were in DDR, you were from a country that DDR had the same relationship with USA, as you today have with Iraq. > |
