Tortola! Absolutely untouched, they ahve an ordinance that nothing can be built higher than a palm tree. Yet the resorts are lovely. Rent a car and you can go anywhere. Allt he other resorts are laid back and bot snotty about going on the beach. Food is great, not too congested or commercialized, but you can go to St. Johns, Jost Van Dyke, Virign Gorda and St. Thomas for ferry fare. You can get to the other islands easily by the ferry or rent a boat. I means easy. Virgin Gorda is a great vsit, so is St. John BUT we just adore Tortola. We have stayed on Tortola a few times BUT last summer we rented the "villas" at Sebastian's and had a wonderful time! We have sent many folks there since. Brand new, (the are actually condos).
