With state and national databases linked to the REAL ID Card, and this card replacing the driver's license, it will soon become the defacto ID for transactions. Swipe it at the bar, checkout at the grocery, verify your credit card, you name it, this info goes into the private sector like Choice Point and Lexis/Nexis where it can be hacked, stolen or bought. |
