here are some facts about the current state of surveillance in trinidad and tobago west indies: the cable tv system is two-way. there are small cameras in the remote control ports of most modern tvs, vcrs, and cable boxes. some models contain small microphones, (eg. SONY SLV-620HF mic at rear panel). your audio/visual feed is sent back over the cable lines to the cable company (CCTT in trinidad) as well as to the local tv stations (eg. TV6 in trinidad), the local newspapers (eg. GUARDIAN and EXPRESS), as well as to the govt/law enforcement agencies here. your signal is also beamed abroad to the foreign media (eg. BBC, CNN, FOX, MSNBC) as well as to the foreign govenrments/agencies (eg. US and UK), as well as to the UNITED NATIONS. you computer's hard disk can be read from and written to over AC power line broadband through your PC's power supply via your local electricity company (eg. T&TEC in trinidad). |
