Have you considered non-AI in South Florida? It's tropical, the natives are friendly, and this is the start of Value Season for many B&B and Hotels. Check out Ft. Lauderdale http://sunny.org. At this time of year I've stayed at some nice B&B for $70.00 usd a night. There's a good choice of moderate and inexpensive places to eat. The International Deli on one of the "mar" Streets (Lunamar, Terramar, Vistamar...) makes great sandwiches for a reasonable price. Nightlife can be found on Las Olas and other nearby spots. The beach offers tanned toned bodies both gay, and straight. The real plus is that there's none of the attitude you find at South Beach sometimes. I know it's not Caribbean but Ft.
