I think it has to do with a couple of things. Primarily, they're
different, and I think that attracts people sick of seeing the same old
thing. Secondly...

"YouRepair.com" - Re: Insulating Underground Pipes
- I would have to agree 18" is not deep enough but additionaly a run of
30 feet is a bad thing.
Even if you were doing this the other way around and heating the garage
hot water from a heater that is inside the house it would still be very
wrong.

i am sure this has probably worked for a long time but you are probably

You won't have the protection of a primer put on the surface. If
that's OK with you, and you are using latex paint, tint the texture
mud with the same paint as your next/fi...

Home Depot sells one version, but you're better off with the
two-circuit kind - alternate outlets take a separate hot wire. If you
want a 20 Amp version, rather than the 15 A, you might have to get a
raceway with receptacle modules, and you'll have to wire it yourself....

"Opinion Seeker" - Metal Tracks for Electrical Wiring
-
Hello,
Do they have metal-tracks for walls, electrical wiring that no longer uses
the box, but has something into which you can plug directly into the track?
I feel i have seen them somewhere?
I am going to have a house wired that has no electricity, and if such an
out-side-the-wall-track exists i would like to consider the cost of using
the tracks in some of the rooms or even all o...

"Lil' Dave" - Re: hardy board for a roof

wouldn't walk on it.
The siding is not tolerant of water. That's why the ground clearance

any other water that wanders beneath it when used as a roofing shingle.
Water intrusion is more likely beneath the exposed surface when not

"Opinion Seeker" - Which Thermostat is Best?

Hello,
Which thermostat would be best. I am fixing up a little house
with no electricity in it. In the living room i will install two
three-foot baseboard heaters, while in the other rooms one
three-foot heater. The heaters are said to have better
circulation if you install them directly under a window. For
creature comfort i will be using other forms of heat.

Daltons doors. It's been quite a few years since I've used any, so they may
