sadly nobody thinks/talks about appropriate speed any more, they
just drive at the speed limit irrespective of conditions. I see

For truffles (or saffron) don't introduce things like garlic that
will overpower it. No heavy sauces needed.
Keep it simple, a little warmth but not much. (Eggs are a good
thing to eat with truffles).
