igarber@optonline.net - Re: Cost of Marble vs Hardwood for New construction in FL
- You should consider other things besides cost when choosing between the
two. I personally feel that marble is not a good choice for anything,
so I would go with hardwood. Or if you like the "marble" look - go with
granite ($$$$)
In NJ, you can get grade 1 oak hw floor + 2 polyurethane coats and 1
sealer for $6.50-7.00 sq. ft.
Probably cheaper where you are.

- FWIW - you have put a second air spring in parallel with the original air
bladder, and by
1/total spring=1/spring1 + 1/spring2,
you lowered the total system spring constant
(and in so doing, you reduced the peak force the system now sees from the
moving water)
Adding a second air chamber in parallel to the first air chamber had the
same effect on the system as lower...

jones.djones@gmail.com - Composite Decking
- I am going to have a composite deck built. I can't decide between Trex
or Evergrain by Epoch. I looked at the other posts but I haven't found
any that were very recent. Does anybody have one of these decks? If so
how do you like it?
Thanks Dave

"jam7340" - Re: Cedar Roof Care & Maintenance
- Yes, there is a lot of information, a lot of which I've been reading.
I was hoping some folks could give me some personal experiences with
this type of roof.
Thanks.

High-tech locks open with the touch of a button
by Max Alexander
For as long as there have been door locks, people have been losing
keys. Which is why combination locks have been around for almost as
long. But it took the arrival of digital technology for manufacturers
to come up with keyless systems that are truly simple and convenient
to use. First ado...

Yeah, I'm afraid you have to tough it out for a while probably...but the
good news is that with self control, you can get there!...

"Ima Googler" - Re: How do you keep your fence rows clear?
- I wouldn't mind putting something down once a year or so... I just
don't want to be doing it once a month! LOL This is a really LONG
fence, so the less work the better.
So, if I used the rock salt, if it rained I guess it would cause it to
spread out into the yard? That wouldn't be a good thing!
