trader4@optonline.net - Re: OT [Re: 2nd Mortgage question] - " don't quite understand that argument. How is the house more in danger if LTV is higher? " He'll get the higher LTV by refinancing and getting a substantially larger mortgage. That typically means larger loan payments. In his case, he's talking about going from a $125K mortgage to a $190K mortgage. Hence it's easier to fall behind at which point, the house is in danger. . ...

nospamgoingjag - Re: Swimming pool heater - Thanks for the formula Robert.. She'd gladly let me fill the pool with black ping pong balls - as long as they came out at the push of a button. She struggled with the cover at our old house with an above ground pool (just turn the crank to roll it up, pull on it to roll it out), only using it twice before making me remove it. She wouldn't even let me buy one for this pool. (frie...

Rocinante - Toro Mower Keeps Blowing Fuse - After recharging the battery for the electric starter for my Toro mower, the 40 amp fuse keeps blowing whenever I turn the key. The 12 volt rated battery is currently at 12.74 volts. Is the electric starter bad, or is the battery overcharged? -- If you can't be a good example, then you'll just have to be a horrible warning. * Catherine Aird RocinanteREMOVETHIS@gmail.com ...

igarber@optonline.net - Re: Cost of Marble vs Hardwood for New construction in FL - You should consider other things besides cost when choosing between the two. I personally feel that marble is not a good choice for anything, so I would go with hardwood. Or if you like the "marble" look - go with granite ($$$$) In NJ, you can get grade 1 oak hw floor + 2 polyurethane coats and 1 sealer for $6.50-7.00 sq. ft. Probably cheaper where you are. . ...

"--" - Re: Why would well pump cycle on and off every second? - FWIW - you have put a second air spring in parallel with the original air bladder, and by 1/total spring=1/spring1 + 1/spring2, you lowered the total system spring constant (and in so doing, you reduced the peak force the system now sees from the moving water) Adding a second air chamber in parallel to the first air chamber had the same effect on the system as lower...
