"misc.consumers.house" - How to drill "Energy Brace" sheathing?
- I'm trying to drill through a barrier of alternating 2x wood and Energy
Brace sheathing to run a speaker wire. A spade bit does nothing
against the Energy Brace. A standard jobber drill 'grabs' and jerks
the drill out of my hand because I'm drilling from an awkward position
and can't hold it firm.
What is the best type of drill bit for 'hogging' through this stuff?
Thanks

"TKM" - Re: No-clog rain gutters & downspouts?
- Probably no system will eliminate gutter cleaning except the one that
involves removing the gutters and letting the water fall onto a gravel
drainage bed; but I've had no problems as yet with the Gutter Brush system
that I installed last fall. Everything stayed clean during a northern Ohio
fall, winter and, so far, this spring. The house is in an area of mixed
mature trees, but n...

tang91766@yahoo.com - Carpet stains
- Hi all:
I am moving out of my rented place. There are some carpet stains
from foot traffic. I don't really need to use a machine carpet
cleaner. I am more thinking of spot cleaning with some form of good
cleaning solution.
Do any of you know any good detergent products that will pick up
carpet stains? I am talking about somehting that i can buy at the
super market...

"joestcyr@msn.com" - Mulching kit MTD rider mower.
- mtd sells an oem mulch kit for my rider, the original kit was
oem-190-112, which was an easy install plug, but is no longer produced.
now, the newest mulch kit is OEM-190-116. This kit serves the same
purpose, however, most parts included must be installed by multiple
drill holes- anyone else familiar with this & is the original LESS
effective? is this reason for the change?

The Fed Starts to Show Concern At Signs of a Bubble in Housing
By DAVID WESSEL
In the debate over whether the housing market is a bubble about to
burst, the crowd that argues it isn't has been able to cite reassuring
utterances by Federal Reserve officials. But there are proliferating
signs that the housing market is looking a bit frothy. And now t...

- Doc, I do believe you just saved me somewhere between $150 and $300. I
spent $6 on a new capacitor and it seems to be working just fine now,
so a sincere thank you for your advice.
The weather has cooled dramatically and the clouds have hidden the sun,
so I'll have to wait a few days to try your sensor switcharoo.

jiman3@mchsi.com - Re: Grains - 32,000 grains - 25 grains
- The 25 number from Water Boss refers to the maximum grains of hardness
per gallon that the 550 will handle. You are correct about the 32000
number being resin capacity or total grains of hardness the resin can
soften bfore needing a recharge.
