Time To Visit Celebration In Florida

Market Street at Celebration hosts some of the world’s leading architects, visible in it’s quaint shops, restaurants, beautiful homes and buildings. When you visit this community you feel as if you are stepping back in time as everything is just perfect.
 
 It feels as if it is staged but it is not. Disney World may have originally built this community (please note it has now been bought over) but real people live in this beautiful town. The homes are stunning and boast pretty porches complete with rocking chairs. This is a very friendly community which is apparent when you speak to the people of Celebration.
 
 If you’re feeling peckish Market Street has some lovely restaurants to suit every taste buds. All the restaurants offer the choice of both indoor and patio dining with stunning lakeside views- a magnificent way to enjoy your meal. Some of the cuisine on offer includes Italian, American, Spanish, Cuban, Seafood and much more.
 
 Café D`Antonio:
 
 This restaurant serves some fine Italian fare. Café D`Antonio is an award winning restaurant and once you taste the food you know why. It offers some of the best pasta dishes I have ever tasted along with a fine selection of wines. You will find the service first class and the prices very affordable. This is an excellent restaurant and you will not be disappointed if you choose to dine here.
 
 Columbia:
 
 This is one of Florida’s oldest restaurants and is quite something with its rich Spanish décor. This is a lively and colourful restaurant serving some amazing Spanish/Cuban cuisine. They offer a large selection of seafood, chicken, beef, pork and the world famous 1905 salad and Arroz Con Pollo (chicken & yellow rice) which is delicious. This restaurant also has a tapas bar, a large selection of cigars and fine wines. Once again you will find very good service at this restaurant.
 
 Herman’s Ice Cream Shoppe:
 
 What a great old-fashioned ice cream parlour this is.

When you enter this store it’s like going back in time to your childhood. They make all the great dishes including Knickerbocker glories, banana splits, ice cream sundaes and so much more. This is a great place to take the whole family for a great tasty treat. Adults and children alike will absolutely love it! They also serve some amazing sandwiches, soups and salads to name a few other items. This ice cream parlour has an amazing atmosphere and well worth a visit.
 
 Celebration has some lovely quaint shops for you to spend your dollars in so remember to bring your credit cards.
 
 Celebration Store:
 
 This lovely shop has lots of Celebration merchandise including pens, post cards, shirts, jackets and some lovely gifts. This is a great store to have a good browse through and you are sure to find some lovely- and quite often unusual gifts.
 
 Market Street Gallery:
 
 This store has some fine gifts on display. You may wish to keep an extra eye on the children in this shop, as most of their gifts are delicate. They also have some stunning crystal, beautiful candles, beanie babies and lots of different Disney soft toys. This is a lovely store to have a wander through. Their merchandise is simply stunning and you are sure to buy a gift or two.
 
 The Salon:
 
 Fancy a new hair cut or the chance to get your nails done? Well why not stop off at this salon. This is a lovely shop and we all need pampered now and again so go on spoil yourself- you are on holiday after all!
 
 Celebration also has a state-of-the-art theatre (movies to you and me). Again this is housed in a stunning building. AMC Celebration theatres offers moviegoers a top of the range high impact system with Sony dynamic digital sound. This theatre also has a gigantic screen so you really think you are in the film and the sound is quite incredible. They have lovely big comfortable seats that lean back.

Watch you don’t get too comfortable or you could fall a sleep. You also get to see all the latest blockbusters before all your friends back home.
 
 Celebration has something for everyone between its beautiful shops, great restaurants and stunning buildings. Furthermore you are invited to take a leisurely stroll(or run for those more energetic visitors) through its delightful park. Once inside you will hardly believe the theme parks are even in the same city let alone on your doorstep.
 
 You can relax in the wooden rockers that are conveniently located along the lakeside. It can be nice just to sit back and watch the world go by. Children will love the interactive fountains that can be found in Market Street. Rest assured you will have quite a job getting them away from here.
 
 If you have time this is a great place to visit. It makes a wonderful contrast to the “busy” side of your vacation which takes in the theme parks and shopping malls and gives you a little taste of a more “real” side to Orlando since many of the homeowners here are full-time residents.
 
 We have mentioned some of the shops, restaurants and entertainment which Celebration has to offer. It is worthwhile going along to see what else Celebration has to offer since there is always something going on.
