Sharmen Lodge is a modern country home with a spacious guest suite for a couple or a small group travelling together. You will revel in the quietness and space. The guest suite has a large comfortably furnished lounge, private bathroom and there are three bedrooms for guests - two with queen beds and one with a double bed. Set in 2 acres of grounds with a pretty garden and a few sheep to keep the grass down - a little touch of country close to town.

Stroll along the connecting entrance gallery in the morning to the dining area. Ian will entertain you with tales of the NZ bush and hunting exploits while Ellen serves a generous country breakfast. With your own living room with SkyTV, a kitchenette for light meal preparation and a selection of books and games you can be as private or as convivial as you want. There is a sheltered outdoor area with a view over the surrounding countryside. Relax with a drink or fire up the barbeque - make yourself at home!
The three bedroom guest suite is elegantly furnished with good lighting, excellent beds, quality linens, electric blankets and toiletries. One or two couples - up to a group of six people can stay. The two larger bedrooms have queen-sized beds and there is a smaller room with a double bed. Children are welcome and a portacot is available.
There is one bathroom with a shower, WC and basin and a wide counter top for all your personal toiletries. The suite is serviced and fresh towels are provided daily.
In the living room there is a kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator and kettle where you can prepare a snack, tea or coffee. Double doors open on to a sheltered outdoor area, relax in the shade, have a drink or cook on the barbeque. SkyTV, a radio/stereo, books and games are also provided.
You can check your emails or arrange to have your laundry washed and dried "in house".
