Olive Grove apartment is newly built and has an open-plan living room and kitchen/diner. There is a double bedroom with twin beds and a double sofa-bed in the lounge. The bedroom also has a wardrobe and small dressing table and stool. The fully tiled shower room with toilet and wash hand basin has a modern standard of plumbing. There is a small patio area for outdoor meals and shady spots on the adjoining terraces in the garden to relax in. Linen is changed on Sunday and Wednesday.
This is rural Greece at its best, where the villagers wave to you as they pass by on their way to work in the olive groves or to tend their sheep and goats. The nightlife here is listening to the cicadas and watching the lights of the fishing boats in the bay. There are excellent tavernas only 5 minutes drive down the hill, and the gently sloping Santava beach is just 5kms. This beautiful area of Greece begs to be explored, with the historic sites of Mystra, Messini and Olympia all easily reached for a day trip, and walking the Taigetos gorges is not to be missed.
