This light and spacious (105 m2) apartment is perfectly situated at the first (US: second) floor of a old mansion built in 1614, with an impressive entrance hall. It is located along the Herengracht, arguably the most beautiful Amsterdam canal, with 4 windows looking over the water.

From the apartment it is only a few minutes walk to Dam square, the Anne Frank house, the Jordaan area and Central Railways station. The Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum are reachable within 15 minutes biking - or walking 25 minutes. Many pleasant shops and delicious restaurants are also very close to the apartment.    

The living room of 40m2 has a couch and two big chairs, seating 4 persons comfortably. There is a kitchen and a pleasant oval dining table. TV and stereo equipment (CD/DVD) are also available, as well as a telephone line.   

The apartment has two convenient bedrooms, one with a king size bed (2.10 x 1.80, non-separable) and one with two separate beds of 2.10 x 0.90 m, which can be put next to each other. The bedrooms are situated at the backside of the house, where it is very quiet - at night, one can only hear the bells of churches marking the hours.

There is a stylish bathroom with a bathtub and a shower, and a separate toilet.

From the second bedroom a little staircase leads to the terrace (30m2), where one can sit amid pots and plants.

The apartment has recently been completely renovated and is in top condition.

Prices ranges from 125-175 euro's per night (2 persons) and are inclusive of taxes, linen, towels and weekly cleaning.
